Sinja

Sinja was born on October 29, 1987, while her mom was living with Peter and Lianne Gramscher in Venlo. She had 7 beautiful brothers and sisters. A family came to see her and took her home, but after two years she ended up in a kennel because they didn't want her anymore... I met Sinja there, and fell in love with her right away! She looked so much like her half brother Gulio, the first Lhasa I met and who stole my heart. End of story - Sinja went home with me!

Sinja never was a kennel dog, as I don't believe in keeping dogs in crates and kennels. It's my opinon that if you want to have a dog and take it to shows, the first priority is that the dog can live a normal, happy life. I took her to the woods, she went swimming with me and was always able to play with other dogs, like the Dutch Sheperd I also had at that time.

In 1991 she gave birth to three beautiful puppies, all female, and two of them stayed with us. Sinja wasn't show quality, but I took her to shows with her daughters because she enjoyed it so much. She even won BOB over her daughters, and wagged her tail at them as if she wanted to say: "Hey, look what your old mom did!".

In 1993 I had to part with my dogs due to personal circumstances, and Sinja went to live with someone else. She died at age 16, and I still miss her very much...
