In Mid 1996 the first demo  "Statement Of Aggression"  was released.  On this demo the band still plays Hardcore/Metal. In March 1997 the live demo  "Ricochets" appeared and had very good critics. The results were several concerts through the Netherlands.
 
 

The in May 1998 released demo "The Art Of Making" shows that the right balance of the band seems to be found; MAC-11 shows everything she is musically capable of doing. This 7-track demo is their first feat in the powermetal field.  Strenght, aggression and melody are cleverly mixed, so that a wide range of musical styles within the metal scene can be heard and Mac-11 creates with this demo their very own sound. The demo was among others chosen as "Demo of the Month" in Aardschok magazine.
 
  
After the demo "The Art Of Making" Mac-11 joined the Metalbash, a contest for bands, organised by the Metal Magazine Aardschok. The band finished with the first five bands and decided to form the power metal pack, together with two other finalists "Lafordova" and "FrustHatreD". In coorperation with Aardschok this "Pack" toured in Holland from October 1999 till March 2000.
 
 

In June 2000 the band made pre-recordings for the first CD and therefore 7 tracks were recorded with the aim to find out if things still had to be changed.  Mid September 2000 Mac-11 started with the recordings of the CD, which got the temporary title "Carved In Stone".
 
  
  
Meanwhile Remco Bouwens became the new drummer of the band.  This exchange, however, caused a delay in the recordings for the CD.
The band started composing new tracks and from March 2001 on Mac-11 is going to tour the Benelux together with the bands Wicked Mystic, After All and Non-Divine.
The name of the tour: METAL GRAND SLAM 2001
 
 

  
On the 25th of March Mac-eleven released the five-track CD Structures Of Habitat.
